Arkansas State Flower History:
In 1901, the Arkansas General Assembly adopted the Apple Blossom as the Arkansas state flower. The beautiful Apple Blossoms have wonderful pink and white petals and are accompanied by green leaves. The Apple Blossom was adopted as the state flower of Arkansas because at one time Arkansas was a major apple-producing state. Today, the heritage continues in Lincoln , where there is an annual Arkansas Apple Festival.
